Catches tigers in red weather.

Gamestop.com seems to hate my credit card since it has canceled my orders (without sending me an email) on two different occasions. Grrr. I wanted the pre-order bonuses! Especially for Scribblenauts. No rooster hat for me, I guess.

So with the funds I intended to use toward the two games I had set to preorder, I instead used to purchase the White Slim Angel Wide-Angle Camera I'd been eying from Poketo. So cute. I plan to get the Golden Half Camera next month.

In other news, my brother owed me $13, and since he was unwilling to part with any actual cash (for whatever reason) he bought me this awesome owl coin bank from Target!

This is totally random, but coin banks from Target are surprisingly sturdy. (I'm drawing this conclusion from one incident, so perhaps they all aren't sturdy...) I have a traditional piggy bank, and one of my cats pushed it off my bookshelf one day, where it fell to the carpet below from a height of about six feet and took absolutely no damage at all. No cracks, no chipped paint, nothing. I was amazed.

× The Primary Colors in 'The Siege of the North"': an Avatar: The Last Airbender picspam popped up in my f-list via avatar_fans and even if you're not into the series I still think its an entry worth checking out, purely to see the great use of color (or the use of limited color) in animation. The Siege of the North episodes were some of my favorite from the first season of Avatar, and I remember being really impressed by the importance of color used throughout: the bursts of red, blue and yellow tied into the story and really helped pull the viewer in.

× This probably won't interest anyone unless you, too, are interested in the Ryu ga Gotoku/Yakuza series like me: First Sega said that it was unlikely Yakuza 3 would be released in the US and Europe due to poor sales from the previous games, costs, etc. Then they said there was a possibility it would be localized. Now there's rumors that localization is already underway and it'll be released here. STOP TEASING ME SEGA I CAN'T TAKE IT. I will be so happy once (if) an official release date is announce.

× Fanfic: I'm a bit of a sucker for (what I think are) well-written AU fics of series I enjoy, and Clean would definitely fall into that category. Its from a Kingdom Hearts police AU called Call of Duty (pairing Leon/Cloud) where Leon and Cloud are officers. There are four other parts that fall before this one chronologically, but this one is my favorite. ♥

× These Japanese typographic town logos that make use of hiragana and katakana characters are really clever. Also: awesomely designed. The logos for Abiko, Shimonoseki, Tsushima, and Tokorozawa are my favorites.

A nap to my mom is somewhere from 5-10 minutes long (which I find particularly hilarious considering some of her naps last as long as 3 hours. XD). Really, to me this sounds more like you're taking nothing more than a brief rest, and besides, it takes me about that long (and longer) to actually fall asleep.

Me and my brother think naps should last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, though I think an hour is running on the excessive side. Anything longer than that gives me a headache and/or I start feeling sluggish afterward. Just so you know, my brother is also a super long nap-taker, so his opinion on naps makes me laugh. XD As for me, I never really get to take naps since every time I try to, one of the previously mentioned people will wander into my room, look at me like I've grown a second head, and ask why I feel the need to take one. I AM NOT A ROBOT. Let me have my own nap time, please oh hypocritical family of mine.
