My Zumreed headphones came in! The sound quality compared to my old headphones is incredible...which isn't that unexpected since my old ones were, like, $20. XD I'm now hearing things in my music that I'd never heard before. Like, I was listening to one of the Okami discs earlier, and was marveling at the low drum beats in some of the tracks. I had never noticed them!

The only downside I've noticed so far is that the fit is a little tight, so wearing them for long periods is kinda uncomfortable. I probably just need to adjust them a little.

Overall, they are a very awesome and cool looking pair of headphones. ♥

Since I always arrive late to the party, I'm only just now getting around to watching the Hana-Kimi and Gokusen dramas. Currently, I've watched three episodes in both series.

• Maki Horikita has such an adorable voice. Especially when she's all 'Ehhhhh?!' at the stupidity around her, or when she does something stupid.
  
• MAKI HORIKITA IS SO CUTE. The perfect Mizuki.
  
• The attractiveness of Shun Oguri wavers for me throughout the episodes. Like, he's not really my sort of guy looks-wise (although he is good looking), but damn, does he have his moments when he looks totally hot. I admit to squealing at the screen at certain points. He looks goofy cute when he's drunk!Sano, though.
  
• The actor who plays Nakatsu looks kinda like a Japanese Jimmy Fallon.
  
• WTF HIMEJIMA. He looks like the crazy love-child of Chairman Kaga and Miles Edgeworth.
  
• In the first episode pretty much everyone goes to Sano's room to borrow his shampoo which prompts Mizuki to exclaim 'Does no one have shampoo here?!' or something like that. Noticing how styled ever guy who goes to Osaka High's hair is, they must go through a ton of shampoo just to get the damn product out of it. XD
  
• "I'm not a homo!" Oh Nakatsu. I love how he held those panties in the air like a trophy.
  
• Sano is such a jerkface compared to how he is in the manga, I love it. I'm so looking forward to Mizuki breaking through that wall around him. ♥
  
• A moment with Nakatsu from episode 4 when he thinks about his feelings toward Mizuki:
  "He's a guy.
  I moved in because I wanted to confirm I'm not a homo.
  Right. That's it.
  Nothing to worry about.
  No. Wait a second... [idea bulb flashing above head]
  Mizuki is also a guy.
  It shouldn't be a problem if we shower together.
  Right! Right!
  Besides, by showering together we'll save money on the water bill.
  I really care about Mother Earth!
  [gives a thumbs up and big smile]
  I'm going in!"
  I laughed so, so much at his reasoning.
  

I so love this drama. ♥
