I watched a crazy amount of Nickelodeon when I was a kid. I think that during the early to mid '90s, my television hardly ever left that channel for however long I had the it on during the day. And most of all, I loved SNICK. Anyone remember SNICK? Ah, Saturday nights were disappointing if I missed it.

I'm pretty fond of the shows I watched during this period, no matter how cheesy or lame they seem now (I'm looking right at you, Roundhouse), so this poll involves my favorites.

[Poll #1039915]

I'm still a Nickelodeon fan now, but the only time I watch these days are for episodes of Avatar (♥!), Spongebob, and Drake & Josh (I'm, uh, a recent fan).

Video game meme I saw on 1UP:

What games would you never part with? And by that I mean what games in your collection, if you had to choose, say, fifteen, would you not 1) sell, 2) give away, 3) lend, or 4) or otherwise part with on a meaningfully permanent basis.

Choosing just 15 was hard! For series (like Final Fantasy, Castlevania, etc.) I choose my absolute favorite so I wouldn't fill up all the slots with those games.

1. Okami (PS2)
2. Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2)
3. Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand (GBA)
4. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (GBA) -- I like so many of my Zelda games! Picking just one was hard!
5. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (PS1)
6. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil (PS2)
7. Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
8. Tomba! (PS1)
9. Beyond Good and Evil (PS2)
10. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)
11. Final Fantasy X (PS2)
12. Ico (PS2)
13. Space Channel 5: Special Edition (PS2)
14. Dr. Mario (GB)
15. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (DS)

I'M STILL NOT HAPPY WITH THIS FINAL LIST. Honorable mentions: Vagrant Story, Trauma Center, Picross DS, Parasite Eve, Bushido Blade, Shadow of the Colossus, Devil May Cry 3, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, and pretty much most of my game collection (minus the ones that drive me insane [cough]Chaos Legion[cough]).

A tropical storm is headed this way. I need to get the hurricane shutters closed in Rockport since that house is old, old, old. (It feels like its ever so slowly falling apart.)

Somebody remembers Shelby Woo!! Where were you a few weeks ago??

I was on this never ending rant because I couldn't remember "Shelby" just Woo and that it was about some girl who was like a detective. Hardly anyone knew what I was talking about much less her name. (We kept trying to call her Wendy. Darn that Disney channel)

Finally in the middle of some conversation in the middle of the night I just hopped out of bed and was like SHELBY!! I looked crazy.

I used to love Shelby Woo! Although now, I can't remember a damn thing about the show (besides the whole detective aspect, that is), except what Shelby looked like (and, oddly enough, what the interior of her house looked like), and that Pat Morita played her grandfather. MY MEMORY IS WEIRD.

Haha, I've done that too! Sometimes I'll be talking to my brother and not remember the name of something, and later on I'll go running to his room when I do remember.

I only remember one scene where she was in an alley with her two friends. I don't know.
I watched it all the time.

I'm always remembering other conversations in the middle of another one.
