Brief Christmas report: Christmas ended up being kinda small this year. We set up the lights outside later than usual (around mid-December rather than the start of the month), and instead of our normal large artificial tree, we bought a 32" silver tree that is currently sitting atop my entertainment center. Its cute, though. ♥ (And it'll probably be there until I get tired of looking at it. XD)

Anyway, here's what I got~
-money
-Harajuku Lovers watch
-Paprika (dvd)
-Silent Hill: Origins (PSP)
-Masterworks of Art: From Tutankhamen to Van Gogh
-Video Game Art by Nic Kelman
-Pokémon toy It is adorable. ♥ I'm such a kiiiiiiiiid.
-Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (dvd)
-video game soundtracks: Final Fantasy X, ICO, and Kingdom Hearts 2

This is the Pokémon toy my brother got me; its a Wobbuffet with its own Pokéball. I took extreme delight in making Wobbuffet shoot out at him.

From left to right: Cecil Cocoadile, Gordon Goobaa, and Franklin Fizzlybear (Viva Pinata toys from Burger King). ...I have a weakness for video game toys that come in kid's meals.

Last month my free Phantom Hourglass stylus came in the mail, but I never posted pictures of it. Its very cool looking, though I will probably never use it. XD

I LOVE THIS WATCH. ♥ The back of the band says "A Fatal Attraction to Cuteness". XDDD

But the tin it came in is kinda ugly. D:

The watch on the left is the one I usually wear.

I normally don't post pictures of myself, so... I must be in a good mood today. :D

If you're a fan of Satoshi Kon films like I am (my personal favorite being "Perfect Blue"), you'll probably enjoy Paprika. Its very, very surreal, and some of the dialogue sort of reminds me of Ghost in the Shell in that they're talking about this technological device (in this case something called a DC Mini) in such a way that I can only vaguely grasp what its all about. Its interesting though.

And the visuals are amazing, particularly when the dream-world is shown; its such a kaleidoscope of colors and objects and music. Personally, the ending was kinda underwhelming for me, but overall its a good film. And now I'm tempted to find out if the novel its based on has an English translation.
