ghostdriveIf I take into consideration that it takes me an average of an hour and a half to stitch an area of about 2"x0.5" on an 18 point cloth, then I should be done with my current cross-stitch project by...2010. D:
I kid, I kid. Though it will take quite a bit of time before its done, especially if I continue to set it aside for video games like I've been doing this past month (I just can't seem to tear myself away from Persona 3 and Apollo Justice). I won't even type out the actual estimated hours I've come up with since, quite frankly, the total makes me blanch. Seriously, its an insane amount. Even more horrifying is the number of stitches this project has.
WHY DO I ENJOY SUCH TEDIOUS HOBBIES. Its like I'm a crafting sadist.

Our home security system is currently being a big pain in the ass. It's acting up in such a way that the alarm beeps every ten seconds. Every. Ten. Seconds. AUGH. Good thing my room is the farthest away from the system or else I'd have spent the past two night virtually sleepless like my brother did. Ha! I laugh at your sleepy pain oh twin of mine~I'm a bad sister.

Kakairu fic rec: Water Spirit. Normally I avoid AU Naruto fics because, well, they're usually pretty bad, but this one is surprisingly fantastic. (And I probably shouldn't rec a fic after reading just one chapter, but...) The author says she was inspired by Totoro, but the supernatural, folksy quality reminds me of Mushishi, and anything that gives me that same content, breathless feeling that Mushishi does is aces in my book. I'm looking forward to when the next chapter is posted.
Meat Bun, an online store with game-themed t-shirts. Okay, so the prices aren't that great at the moment (you could probably get 2 or 3 Threadless ones for the price of one Meat Bun shirt) and there's only a few designs, but I'm kinda crazy over the Agro Polo ones. I loves me some Shadow of the Colossus. ♥
Awesome fanart: Shadow of the Patapon and 300 Patapon. PATA PATA PATA PON. God, this game makes me sound crazy.
