Oh yeah, when I went to Half-Price books the other day, there was a sign in the Young Adult section that said "If you enjoyed Stephanie Meyer's Twilight you might also like the following authors..." with this long list beneath it. I shit you not, the first name listed was Clive Barker. CLIVE BARKER. You know, he of the Hellraiser film series.

Admittedly, I've never read any of Barker's books, but if they're anything like the Hellraiser series, I'm cracking myself up imagining the look of horror on a Twilight reader's face when they decide to check out one of his books.

I have read a number of Barker's books, and I can assure you that the look of horror on Twilight readers' faces when they decide to check out his books will be every bit as priceless as you picture it. :'D

I've read his Abarat books, but that was way back in middle school. They were a good read, even though I never really got super-into them.

Damn, that Metal Gear Solid painting is mind-blowing.

Those plug suits look uncomfortable and very revealing. But I guess there's enough otaku out there to justify the manufacture.
