Zelda scans from June issue of EGM

ghostdriveFinally got around to reading last months issue of EGM (which is my brother's by the way), and lo and behold, the main article is about the newest Zelda game. Yay! And for pure kicks and giggles (and for no reason at all), here's a picture of Shigeru Miyamoto that cracked me up:

Here's the cover. I love how Link looks here (so much so that I've also included a more close up scan...I get dorky over Link):

I wonder who that cloaked figure is though? And what does the wolf in the back represent?
The next two are Link and Zelda's designs for Twilight Princess:
I'm really digging the more mature designs. While I enjoyed the cell-shading (or "Cel-da" as it was jokingly referred to as) of Wind Waker (Link was so adorable in Wind Waker ♥ !), I think this design is well-suited for a darker game. And Zelda! She looks so beautiful! Bah, I can't make any intelligent sounding sentences since Zelda games make me fangirl so much.
I actually scanned the entire article (the cover shown here + 8 pages), so if anyone didn't get the chance to read it, let me know and I can sent it to you. I probably shouldn't do that, but I can't help it! Zelda games compel me to share.
This Naruto fanart is hilarious. Kancho Assassin indeed.

Date: 2005-06-22 08:04 pm (UTC)Look! Your bad-fic idea made me draw equally bad fanart! Eh, this was my attempt at the whimsical Wind Waker style. Link is supposed to be reeling back in horror, but he just looks faintly surprised (maybe Ganondorf crossdressing isn't so unusual to him?). And Tingle was added purely because he amuses me sooo much.
I'll watch the trailer later on. I just got back online so I could share my
wonderfulfanart.I know how you feel. When I play Dr. Mario too much, I'll start seeing the viruses in my head when I close my eyes. Then I start imagining random games and thinking,"and if I put this pill here, these viruses die. Blue pill here, blah blah blah," GAH! Puzzle games own my soul!
