ghostdriveMade a cake for my mom today, but to my annoyance discovered there wasn't any vegetable oil. Grrr...I hate having to substitute items in recipes. I don't know why that is. Anyway, we had corn oil and canola oil, and since I had no idea which one was better to use I asked my mom. Her response: "Why don't you use...cornola oil." Ah, now I see where my brother and I get our penchant for making bad jokes from. XP
Waldenbooks FINALLY received their copies of Vampire Hunter D: Raiser of Gales after what felt like an eternity of waiting. ♥♥♥ The only bad thing is that the third volume, Demon Deathchase, isn't being released until January. Alas, that means even more waiting for me. ^^; Me wants Leila and D interaction! And the Marcus clan! And Meier Link! And Left Hand being his plain old smart ass self! WHOOOO! I DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE!! Also picked up Death Note vol. 1, Hana-Kimi vol. 8 (I grin like a fool for Hana-Kimi XD), Yotsuba&! vol. 3 (A MUST READ! If you enjoy Azumanga Daioh, this one is just as great), and RG Veda (I'm so glad CLAMP no longer draws HUGE, BULKING shoulders on their male characters).
Ahem, now that I've got my VHD fangirling out of my system, TIME FOR RANDOM PICTURE POST!
Captain and Bingo taking over my seat. Aren't they cute? ♥
Its my lovely Captain! My friends like to tell me she has "stoner" eyes. I just call it bad genetics. XD
Haha, Jiro reminds me of that forest god from Princess Mononoke (you know, the one that stretches out as it transforms during the night) in this picture. Jiro Transformation Activate!

This is something I'm constantly saying to my mom when she makes her lame jokes, calls my name too often during the day, etc. She kills me sometimes.
Nothing much to say here I'm afraid. I just liked it.
And last but certainly not least, my Anita figure!
It came with the box-set of the R.O.D. The TV series. I think its super cool because it comes with another pair of interchangeable arms (holding paper weapons) and 2 different facial expressions. Hmmm...does Waldenbooks still carry the Michelle figure? *wants toys of all the paper masters*
Watching Evangelionn on Adult Swim makes me realize how much the English dub really does suck. Haha, its been quite awhile since I last watched my dvds of this series. It was enjoyable until it veered off into total mind-fuck territory. Then I was just confused. -_-; Oh well, I still like Evangelion anyway.
