The swordsman amongst purple haze...
Jul. 29th, 2005 06:56 pmBeen in a generally pissy mood for about half the day. And all over the dreaded "C"-word: College. Bleh, its not that I don't want to go. Its just that my social anxiety is already kicking in and giving me mild panic attacks. Super sucky. ...End of subject for now.

Somehow, Nishizono Tetora of MPD Psycho has managed to become even hotter (did he suddenly hit a growth spurt?). I wouldn't feel so bad about this if I actually remembered how old he was. GAH! Is he underage?!Once again, I feel like a pedophile. Is it wrong to like boyish looking characters? Anime/manga makes me feel more perverted than I really am.
I do believe I managed to creep out/scare my brother with my screen saver slideshow of Prince of Tennis Musical actors. ^_^Ah, the joys of youthful boys. I swear a lot of them are older than they look. ^^;

Jun. 16th, 2005 08:59 pmAs Murphy's Law states, "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.," and that's exactly what happened today. Our van is currently out of commission until the windshield is replaced (see A-Kon post for details if you are so inclined). My mom and I were on our way back from Rockport when our truck became overheated (Damn you Texas heat!) and smoke started billowing out from under the hood. So we spent the next 45 minutes attempting not to die of boredom until my mom's sister came to help us out. Luckily I had my sketch pad with me, so there are a couple of new lame sketches in there (which I will probably post once I get back to Rockport for no particular reason at all).
A couple of my younger cousins are at my house with their grandparents (my aunt and uncle), and one of them is driving me crazy. Everytime I leave the room, I'll find him (hmmm...you know, I don't even know his name, I'm such a horrible cousin) at my computer desk messing with the mouse when I return. I'm paranoid that he'll click on something and download a virus or something. BAH! Why do little kids like to hang around me so much? I don't even want kids of my own. (Phew, he just left. Now I don't have to listen to him whine, "Is it my turn yet?" anymore.)

grod8404, like my Prince of Tennis Musical icon? Haha, at least he's not underage (like the actual TeniPuri characters are. Damn you 12-year old Ryoma!) so I don't feel like a complete pervert ogling him.
And lastly, Bleach vol. 6 has left me hungering for volume 7 (I do hope I can find it when I go to the bookstore tomorrow). I absolutely adore the dynamics between Ichigo and Ishida. When Ishida strapped Ichigo's sword to his head I nearly died laughing. And when Renji and Rukia's brother, Byakuya, appeared, I squealed like a dork (btw, what the hell does Byakuya have in his hair? Large beads?). I ♥ Bleach!

Hug Your Cat Day ♥
May. 15th, 2005 06:06 pmToday's Hug Your Cat Day! I'm so dorky I actually wrote that into my calendar (my cat calendar btw....yes I love cats ^^;). But on the one day that is meant to celebrate cats, my own cats have managed to annoy the hell out of me. I have been driven crazy by several small incidents, that when you put them together make me one very annoyed person. ( I shall put the explanation behind this cut, mwahaha... ) But, I love my cats, annoyances and all.
And following the tradition of weird-ass dreams, the one I had last night was a mixture of Tenimyu, Resident Evil and Castlevania games. It involved the two people in the picture on the right; Yanagi Kotaroh (in the blue cap) and Endo Yuya. They've both played Ryoma in the Prince of Tennis musical. The dream was mainly about both of them going to my uncle's house (which looked like a spanish hacienda, too much RE4 for me) and they battled zombies using samurai swords. WTF?! And the scenes kept on changing from that of a first-person shooter (through Endo's eyes), to them looking like they were in a Castlevania game, and back to an all-seeing view.
And just because, I chose the dorkiest picture of them possible. Haha, I adore those two and it cracks me up to see them posing with their rackets.
Last night I watched Otogi Zoshi volume 1 and came to one conclusion: Tsuna with make-up on = me laughing like a crazy person. I like Otogi Zoshi, even though it didn't grab me like other anime series have. Its good in a somber sort of way, and the background colors are very muted. So muted in fact, that when I popped in Gokusen volume 3 afterward, I was momentarily blinded by the bright colors (Shin's red hair and Kumiko's god awful orange jacket).
And lastly, Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka is kind of....scary.
