Been in a generally pissy mood for about half the day. And all over the dreaded "C"-word: College. Bleh, its not that I don't want to go. Its just that my social anxiety is already kicking in and giving me mild panic attacks. Super sucky. ...End of subject for now.

Just when I think Samurai Champloo can't get any better, SC volume 3 babble, cut for possible spoilers ) I love shows with trio dynamics. ♥

Somehow, Nishizono Tetora of MPD Psycho has managed to become even hotter (did he suddenly hit a growth spurt?). I wouldn't feel so bad about this if I actually remembered how old he was. GAH! Is he underage?! Once again, I feel like a pedophile. Is it wrong to like boyish looking characters? Anime/manga makes me feel more perverted than I really am.

I do believe I managed to creep out/scare my brother with my screen saver slideshow of Prince of Tennis Musical actors. ^_^ Ah, the joys of youthful boys. I swear a lot of them are older than they look. ^^;

Lately, I've been listening to my old cds (most of them were bought around 1995~1997), and I really don't know why. Maybe my brain is finally rebelling against the constant Asian rock and pop I prefer now.

It seems that my beloved printer has finally died on me. It has now gone to that great office space in the sky. Attempts at fixing it resulted in nothing more than ink-soiled hands. Hey, that printer's nearly eight years old, of course its dirty. And no, I didn't really clean out the inside as much as I should have. Way to guilt trip me you stupid printer!

*sigh* Guess its back to reading the rest of those MPD Psycho scanlations. Since Amamiya-kun is really nothing more than a part of Nishizono Tetora's soul at the moment, this series doesn't seem as exciting anymore. I preferred it when Amamiya was "alive". When his different personalities would surface (especially the extremely homicidal Nishizono Shinji) it was thrilling (and sometimes humorous in the case of Mina Amamiya). Now, Amamiya is no longer the main character. Miwa is in a coma. Machi is no longer her kick-ass self. It's kind of like reading Death Note post chapter 58. Sure Mello and Near are interesting characters, but they'll never be like L.

Holy crap, I had not one, but three weird dreams this morning. They're all rather vague (really vague in one case) so I won't spend too much time discussing them.

Welcome to my weird dreams... )

Haha, I was momentarily rendered speechless by Wolfram cosplay.....I am so dorky.

Blah, blah, blah, I had more to say, but I'll just edit this later. I think I'll go check on info about E3 (The Electronic Entertainment Expo which is a videogame event that I like to keep up with, along with the Tokyo Game Show [TGS]). Its starts on May 18, but I want to read what the companies will be showing.

EDIT: My reaction while reading the end of MPD Psycho vol. 7 (chp. 38-44): WTF?!! Ahhh! I thought volume 6 left me utterly confused and now volume 7 has completely broken my brain. Lucy Monostone alive? What's going to happen now that Miwa and Nishizono Tetora have met? Will Kazuhiko Amamiya break free from the Nishizono Shinji persona? ARGH! Me so confused!

EDIT X 2: Hmmm...After reading up to Vol. 8 chp. 47 of MPD Psycho I'm debating whether or not to continue. I'm not sure if I like how the storyline is going (And that commenter over at [livejournal.com profile] death_note was right, MPD Psycho and Death Note are sort of similar). Oh well, I'll guess I'll read the rest Omanga currently has available.

Will be changing my username soon (once livejournal has received my payment that is). My current username was a spur of the moment decision and I don't particularly like it (too generic for me), but no worries, everything else will remain the same (i.e. my current friends, communities, info, etc.)

Countdown to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: 17 Days!

Now I'm off to read my newly downloaded Death Note chapter 60 (I've taken a break from reading MPD Psycho since volume 6 nearly broke my brain with its complex storyline). Near is soooo cute! ♥ And Mello is so sadistically cool looking! ♥♥(And for some reason an older Aizawa looks like Mr. T in his younger years....I am amused.)

Oh yeah, why does the news of Tom Cruise dating Katie Holmes fascinate me? DAMN YOU CELEBRITY NEWS! I can not resist you!

This is the random thought that went through my head while reading MPD Psycho vol. 6 chp. 32: Miwa looks very cute in an eyepatch.♥ (<---at the moment, I don't know why she's wearing the eyepatch. Perhaps it has something to do with the Eye Bank. Or maybe Amamiya has something to do with it. [NOTE: It appears that the beginning of volume 6 takes place 6 months after volume 5. So any occurences in between have yet to be explained.])

Two more Miwa pics from volume 6 )

...I have such weird tastes (Is it a fetish?). For some reason I like those white type of eyepatches more than the black ones associated with pirates (Though I have to admit, the black ones Toguchi [also a character in MPD Psycho] wears are pretty cool as well. But his have various designs to match his outfits. I.E. Leopard print, skull and crossbones, barcodes, kanji characters, and others).

And to further prove I have a huge obsession with Prince of Tennis, I'd like to note that Ryoma has to wear one of these white eyepatches in volume 5 after getting his eyelid cut during his match with Shinji (Ugh, I am sooo obsessed....) If I remember correctly, I also posted some Ryoma fanart I found a couple of posts below, and he's wearing that white eyepatch. (Here if you'd like to see it again.)

Hmmm....now I want to look for more fanart of characters wearing eyepatches. (Kakashi from Naruto seems to be a popular character to depict wearing an eyepatch. And of course, Ryoma post-Fudomine match, and Hatori from Fruits Basket, and also Hakkai from Saiyuki.)
